Baby legs!

First, please forgive the quality of the pictures. I took these photos with my Blackberry so I could upload them to Facebook. It's too late and I'm a little too tired to take proper pictures (not that they'd be any better!)

It's no secret that my girls and I are Pinterest addicts. Shortly before Peanut joined the family, Little Momma saw a pin for baby legs, which are basically leg warmers for babies made from knee socks. It was a project we were supposed to work on together, but I soon found out that by "together," she meant that she'd sit and talk to me while I sewed. The first few pairs were a success, and she gifted them to her twin nieces, four months older than Peanut. Since then, Little Momma has been collecting socks she thought were "cute" and has been after me to get busy. I finally made myself sit down this evening and managed to whip out all nine sets. I think they turned out great!

The three sets of Valentine baby legs are actually just crew socks. Since Peanut is such a tiny nugget, these should fit her now, and the others she'll grow into. I have to say, my confidence in my sewing abilities got a big boost. So much so, tomorrow night I'm going to try and put together a trash bag for my car. I'll let you know how it goes!

  1. Cute! These would be perfect with all the plain white onesies I have.
